Course Content
Students will study:
- Energy
- Electricity
- Particle model of matter
- Atomic structure
- Forces
- Waves
- Magnetism and electromagnetism
- Space physics (physics only)
Method of Study
You will attend class each week - where you will work alone or collaboratively with your fellow students and tutor, in which you will engage in stimulating discussions and classroom-based exercises to support your development and learning. In addition, students will use virtual laboratories to develop their practical physics skills.
Paper 1:
Topics 1-4: Energy; Electricity; Particle model of matter; and Atomic structure.
Paper 2:
Topics 5-8: Forces; Waves; Magnetism and electromagnetism; and Space physics.
What Can I Do Next?
Students can progress onto AQA A or A/S Level Physics.
